Pivnyk

The PIVNYK Collection unfolds around a modern symbol of Ukrainian resilience and hope for a bright future.

A photograph of a cupboard with a ceramic rooster figurine, left intact in a bombed apartment in Borodianka, has become a powerful sign of strength. The original design of this ceramic piece was created by Valerii and Nadiia Protorievy and was produced at the Vasylkiv Majolica Factory between the 1960s and 1980s. Today, the original rooster is no longer in production, so we’ve reimagined its form in a collection of jewelry.

This symbolic line features earrings, pendants, and brooches in various sizes, each shaped like the iconic rooster and crafted from gold-plated silver. The pendants come with both chains and a linen cord. A ceramic candle in the form of the rooster completes the collection. This way, everyone can have a personal reminder of strength and unity — a rooster of their own.

For the campaign shoot, GUNIA Project invited high school graduates of 2022, as brand founders Mariia Havryliuk and Nataliia Kamenska see them as the embodiment of Ukraine’s future. 10% of the profit was donated to restore the secondary school in the village of Kolychivka in the Chernihiv region.
