The collection’s visual language draws inspiration from 20th-century Ukrainian rug making. The print designs, featuring birds, flowers, and figures, reinterpret motifs found in traditional rugs from the Kyiv, Poltava, Vinnytsia, and Kamianets regions. The botanical elements originate from 19th-century carved tiles from Poltava and Cherkasy. The Tree of Life, an archetypal symbol of Ukrainian culture that contains a vision of the cosmic order, harmony, and the deep connection between humanity and nature, lies at the heart of the collection. Its universal concept transcends seasons, years, and centuries.
