Description

The silhouette of this style is typical for the Middle Naddniprianshchyna of the Kyiv region. The dress is embellished with an embroidered detachable bib. The leitmotif of the embroidery is dictated by the image of Adam and Eve, discovered on the 17th-18th-century Chernihiv tile. A 1909 wooden chest from Bukovyna, painted with hearts and flowers, is another reference.
