The painting of the saucer is inspired by and named after the dog Riabchyk, originating from the rare embroidered 20th-century rushnyk from the Chernihiv region of Ukraine, from the private collection of Olena Saydel. The floral elements are inspired by the embroidery tradition of the Bukovyna region of Ukraine.
