The design is inspired by the silhouettes of authentic shirts from the Poltava region of Ukraine; the embroidered strawberry motif originates from a naïve embroidered rushnyk from the brand’s personal archive, while the bee comes from an embroidery piece by an amateur artist discovered by the Old Khata Project.
