Birdsong Easter Napkin. Hemp canvas. Traditionally, such a napkin served to wrap bread and paska, a traditional Easter bread, before taking them to church for blessing. The designer embroidery is developed based on a historic rushnyk from the GUNIA archive and the tradition of cross-stitch embroidery. The bee motif is inspired by the embroidered work of an unknown artist, discovered through original research by the Old Khata Project. Use the napkin to decorate an Easter basket, a festive table, or an everyday interior. Keep it as a collectible item, or gift it to those who cherish the beauty of the authentic.
