Description

Mermaids Platter. The images of mermaids are inspired by the 1695 intaglio ‘The Joy of the Dnipro Waters’ by Leontii Tarasevych and the 1836 wooden beam by Danylo Ekoliuk. The geometry of the painting adopts the decorative visual rhythm of the Khan Palace, Bakhchysaray. Hand-painted.
