Reunion Vase. The painting with a cat motif is inspired by a 1960s folk embroidered artwork, cross-stitched on homespun fabric from the Cherkasy region of Ukraine. The dog motif originates from the rare 20th-century embroidered rushnyk from the Chernihiv region of Ukraine, from the private collection of Olena Saydel. Handcrafting lends a unique character to every piece, while the use of gold detailing highlights its significance.
